Palo Alto was absolutely beautiful. It is like the Orange County of the Bay Area, except property costs far more per square foot in Palo Alto (crazy right!). I went to watch some Stanford vs Ucla Baseball, walked around the Stanford Mall (a must- this place is like a fashion island on steroids), and brunched at our hotel, which had one of the best buffet brunches I have ever had (poached eggs on a whole grain English muffin with a bed of spinach- to die for- highly recommended stay for under 150$ a night if looking for a hotel near Stanford.
Berkeley was fun and incredibly beautiful. It is definitely a place for foodies and people who love to explore. The campus is pretty big and is filled with many pathways lined with trees and a stream. The buildings are historic and grand. It was so pretty and there are many friendly squirrels!
San Fransisco was very exciting. There is so much to do! This city is the perfect LA escape. Well, an escape if you want the city feel with an entirely different vibe. We went to a tea lounge called Samovar. Don't order anything with the salmon, it tastes and looks like cat food. But otherwise, the food was incredible! The city had such great vibes and breathtaking views. It looked like a runners paradise with the hills and perfect weather. Not too hot and not too cold.
